This is the best umbrella I have ever owned. When closed, it measures a little over 14 1/2 inches. It opens by pressing a button that opens it automatically. At that point, it is an umbrella large enough for two people. It is very durable and well-made. The handle is a carabiner handle, which means you can hook it onto a backpack, your belt, perhaps a suitcase handle. It’s also the type of umbrella where the wet side folds in and you do not get hit with any water running off of it. My umbrella is black, but there are a variety of other colors to choose from. It has reflective strips and is advertised to be windproof, but I haven’t used either of those features. If you are looking for an umbrella, look no further.

The black interior rod snapped after it was opened. The rods are plastic. I purchased another from a different brand that has metal rods. I wanted to order a second but it wouldn’t come in time so I ordered this one. Not very happy with it at all.

Opening is automatic on the press, getting it back down to close needs manual pulling. Other than that its sturdy for a small umbrella and does a great job on advertise.
